For safety, the default speed of the DY8501 electric scooter is 15Mph (25km/h). You can set the maximum speed to 20Mph (33km/h) through the APP. What is the battery life of an electric scooter? When first used, the electric scooter's battery shows a virtual 100% charge and takes 5-7 hours to fully charge on the first charge, with a range of 17-21 miles. (Varies by riding style, weight and road conditions) Why can't I start the electric scooter after receiving it ? For safety reasons and to avoid kids to push the throttle button randomly, our adult electric scooter adopts a glide start design, you only need to glide 2 steps and then press the throttle to start a normal and comfortable ride.
